Les Hauts Pâturages is an exclusive-use large country house set in 30 acres of breathtaking scenery with a heated swimming pool, forest and parkland. Nestled in the heart of a sleepy village on the crest of a Pyrenean foothill with valleys on three sides and the Montaigu mountain range to the south make this a magical place for weddings and elopements.
We specialise in small weddings of 12 - 50 guests. Our two-night wedding package allows you to create a beautiful and relaxed few days for your family and friends. The property dates from the 17th century sleeping up to 13 plus babies and if you have extra guests we can help find accommodation locally.

Situated between Bagneres-de-Bigorre and Lourdes, 35 minutes drive from an international airport and 20 minutes from TGV and the train station makes access a dream.
Magical Venue
Canápes around the pool welcome guests before the wedding breakfast which can take place outdoors in our extensive gardens, secluded forest glade or in our ancient avenue of walnut trees with beautiful views of the mountains and valleys along with a real sense of tranquility. Should you prefer an indoor reception we offer a choice of stretch tent and/or The Grange.

As night approaches the garden takes on a magical quality twinkling fairy lights, mellow mood lighting and candles further add to the ambience for night time dining with wood-fired pizza, paella or barbecue. It is also the perfect stage for acoustic musicians to provide background music. Dance the night away under the stars or feast until midnight.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom can slip away for photographs. Each season brings new colours, shapes and form to the gardens which, together with the fabulous views, the opportunity of photographs in a vintage Morgan car, around the pool or the tiny church next door all provide a wonderful backdrop for your special day.

The house will be guest-ready with everything you need to relax and unwind; from bathrobes, to herbal teas &coffees, stocked fridge, white boutique bedroom linen on super-king sized beds!
Helping to set the scene on your very special day you can choose from a selection of hand crafted oak boards from the fallen trees in our forest, slate or classic white platters perfect for canapés, beautiful vintage bowls filled with vibrant salads. Crisp linens over long tables set with sparkling glassware, flowers and greenery freshly picked from the garden, candles and tea lights, with amazing sunsets help set the scene . Wooden signs, zinc baths filled with drinks of your choice, and fairy lights all make the perfect setting all chosen by you.
