The property
Set on the crest of à Pyrenean foothill with views all around, explore our 30 acres of pasture and forest. The land stretches away below the pool and has been planted (around 50 years ago) with superb walnut and chestnut trees, spend time discovering our three family-family colour-coded walks, pack a picnic and hike down to 'The Glade'.
RELAX AROUND THE POOL
Make the most of the summer sun and enjoy a dip in the heated swimming pool or take a book and lounge on the decking enjoying the peace and tranquility that surround you as birds chirp in the trees.
GRAND SALON
Gather in the grand salon where comfy sofas, throws and candles set the scene in front of the large fire place which houses the wood-burning stove perfect of chilly evenings.

The kids love sharing this bright room with large family bathroom next door and king-size bedroom for mum and dad across the hall. Stairgates, fireguards, cots, highchairs, changing mats etc are available on request. Board games, 2 playstations and lots of books and DVD's help keep the children busy.

Happy children make great holidays! Relax around the pool, read a book whilst the children explore our woodland play area enjoying the freedom to play and discover new skills.
downstairs suite
The downstairs suite is calm and relaxing and has neutral colour tones. The high ceiling gives it a grand and spacious-feel, boasting a super king bed, a second space with 2 singles, its own terrace, fireplace and ensuite make this one of our best loved rooms.
All our bedrooms are designed for guests to relax in, having white boutique bedding and thoughtful additions along with views to die for.

Gather around the firepit and watch the sun set over the mountains whilst cooking your supper over the open fire.
Surrounded by trees and twinkling lights this is perfect ending to day spent in our heavenly hideaway.
Winter Fun
The mountains are magical when they are covered with a blanket of snow and can be discovered with snowshoes along marked and secured trails.

Your fabulous home & the the surrounding stunningly beautiful countryside location have been the perfect combination for our stay.
With the beautiful villages of Puzac, Bagneres de Bigorre & Argeles Gazost nearby, there is no shortage of activities, excursions or simply breathtaking drives to enjoy & take in the magnificent views. The small village of Ossun ez Angles has a character all of its own set up on the hillside, and with over 30 surrounding acres there is no shortage of forest walks & woodland to explore.
The facilities at Les Hauts Paturages are outstanding, with everything thoughtfully taken care of...from cotbeds, changing mat & stair-gate, to coffee makers, microwave, ironing facilities - everything is in place for you to arrive & immediately relax into the peaceful surroundings & beautiful sounds of nature all around you. The facilities outside are equally impressive, from the pool with beds, numerous sporting options including football & table tennis, swings & see-saws (not just for the children..), and especially the fire pit for taking in the unbelievable views (and Doug's musical skills) with a glass or two of red.
We'll be back to the region each year from now on & can't think of anywhere else we would rather stay....we still need more time in the pool & to take up the 5-course dinner & our girls are already missing Rolo! We can't recommend this special place highly enough....the property, the location & the hosts.
