Terms & Conditions
The contract is established from the definitive reservation. The reservation becomes effective after receipt of the signed rental contract, accompanied by the deposit on the price of the stay, before the date indicated. A copy of the contract must be kept by the client. The rental agreement concluded between the parties to this contract may not under any circumstances be transferred, even partially, to third parties, whether natural or legal persons.
Each contract is drawn up for the maximum capacity of persons indicated. If the number of guests exceeds the capacity, the owner can refuse the additional persons.
The prices of the stays have no contractual value and can be modified without notice. The contractual price is the one fixed at the time of booking.
The price agreed at the time of booking includes :
1. The rental of the furnished and equipped house, from the day of arrival to the day of departure.
2. Water, gas and electricity consumption.
3. Free access to leisure and outdoor facilities.
4. The supply of bedding, bath and hand towels and kitchen towels and tea towels.
5. The provision of firewood.
Extra services payable on site before departure include:
1. Dinner, breakfast and other food options as advertised on our website.
2. Collection and Drop offs at airports, train stations etc.
3. Activities as advertised on our website.
Terms of payment
A deposit of 30% is paid at the time of booking by cheque or bank transfer as appropriate. The balance must be paid at the latest 4 weeks before the beginning of the stay. In case of late booking (less than 30 days before the rental period) the total amount of the rental is to be paid at the time of booking.
Methods of payment
The following methods of payment are accepted: French cheques, bank transfer, credit card for the balance of the rental, and cash during the stay.
Use of the premises
The owner will provide the accommodation as described on the website.
The client must respect the peaceful nature of the accommodation and use it in accordance with the purpose of the premises and the internal regulations. The installation of tents or the parking of caravans on the rented property is prohibited.
On departure, the client undertakes to return the rental property without any deterioration as he/ she found it on arrival. All repairs, whatever their importance, made necessary by the negligence of the client during the rental period will be at their expense, deducted from the security deposit .
Sub-letting is forbidden, even free of charge, the contract will be terminated immediately.
The rented premises are for temporary or holiday use, excluding any professional, commercial or craft activity of any kind.
Concerning the stay for the week: Arrival times are normally scheduled from 5pm. Departure times are normally scheduled for 10am at the latest. They can only be modified with the agreement of the owner on request.
The owner undertakes to deliver the house in an excellent state of repair and to remedy, as soon as possible, any malfunctions noted on arrival or during the rental period. On arrival, the client shall check the inventory of fixtures and fittings and report any missing or damaged items within 24 hours of arrival. Any loss or damage will give rise to compensation.
Security deposit (or guarantee)
The client must pay a security deposit before arrival by credit card/bank transfer or French cheque, which can be cancelled/returned after the end of stay cleaning service, and this, at the latest 10 days after the clients's departure, minus the cost of restoring the premises or if any damage has been noted. The amount of any deductions must be duly justified by the owner on the basis of an inventory of fixtures at the end of the stay, estimates, invoices, etc. .... If the security deposit is insufficient, the client undertakes to complete the sum on the basis of the proofs provided by the owner. This deposit shall in no case be considered as a contribution to the payment of the rent.
Cancellation by the tenant with the exception of force majeure relating to Covid 19.
Cancellation before arrival
In case of cancellation or modification 90 days before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
In case of cancellation or modification 60 days before the date of arrival, the deposit will be kept by the owner.
In case of cancellation or modification up to 30 days before the date of arrival, we charge 75% of the total amount of the reservation.
In case of cancellation or modification less than 30 daysbefore the arrival date, 100% of the reservation amount will be charged. If however if we are able, with the clients permission, to re-sell the rental period we will reimburse the client.
